Explanation: Chinese civilization has existed for a much longer time than Korean or Japanese civilization. With civilization comes trade, and with trade comes influence. Due to the Chinese civilization coming first, it was able to influence other growing civilizations around it, such as Korean and Japanese.
The Japanese language was based off of Chinese, but it was given an alphabet and was rewritten.
