Scalawags are playful little pranksters, they cause a lot of trouble, but are easily taken care of. Although known to misbehave, they don't step out of line too much. KKK on the other hand is terrifying. The Klux Klux clan was known to be very brutal and used fear to force people to listen to them. They were a hate terrorist organization that was known to be white supremacists. They often chased down and killed blacks(freed or not) in order to assert dominance over them.
