Answer:

Hounds= Hunting Dogs

Explanation:

Hounds are used to pursue running game (rabbits, deer) and gun dogs are used to locate camouflaged hiding game (grouse, pheasant) or retrieve flying game (ducks). Hunting hounds bring the hunter to the prey. They have keen noses that detect the presence of game and track the scent.

Which one is main idea? Number for answer and please i need this!
soldi70 [24.7K]

The one that presents a main idea is number (3) "Fire, in fact, has been a significant factor in human development and progress in many ways".

The main idea of a paragraph states the primary point that the author wants to express and transmit to the reader. Generally, the main idea is announced in a single sentence and this sentence is usually located at the beginning of a paragraph. In the case of the paragraph provided, sentence 3) is the one that contains the main idea because it encompasses all the supporting details that are included in the rest of the sentences. In other words, sentences 1), 2), 4), 5), 6) and 7) provide supporting information for the main point stated in sentence 3).

Quick, anyone know the answer to this English question?
dexar [7]

Answer:

To be honest, due to this being a English question about slavery. It's not my best subject, though the only answer I can give you would probably be the second choice, 'to show that slavery is harmful to society'.

Explanation:

It's the only reasonable one. The last one is proving that slavery is right. The first one is just not as reasonable, and I just have a feeling it's the second one. Though, it might be wrong it's most reasonable in my case. Good luck!
