This is simple. :)
All you have to do is plug in each of the coordinates.
So, for the first one, you would take the first option (-2,-9). The equation would look like this: -9=3(-2). -2*3 doesn't equal -9, so you move on to the other options, testing them out.

The second question is the same. For example, you take (2,14), plug it into the equation to make it look like this: 14=-5(2)+4
-5*2=-10
-10+4=-6
So the first option is not correct.
