Answer:

I think we still have a long way before that happens, I mean, Elon Musk is working on SpaceX, so just keep following up on that :p AS far as if it would be cool, maybe, it would be a interesting experience, and there has been ideas of living on Mars, which would mean you just cant go outside without a suit on, and your garden would be on the inside.

Answer:

Explanation:

That’s a great question. The short answer is yes, but it’s really, really difficult. Those places are dangerous – without protection, you would die in seconds or minutes. But, thanks to modern technology, we’ve worked out how to live there. People can live for months at a time. Space is very dangerous – and without protection, people would not be able to survive there. In space, there’s no air – so you couldn’t breathe. It’s cold – so you’d freeze. And there’s lots of nasty radiation,so you’d get really, really bad sunburn. But despite all that, we have people living in space all the time!

Explain how the narrator was able to trick his enemy Fortunato
Bess [88]

Answer:

At the carnival, Fortunato was already half drunk when the narrator (Montresor) informed him that he has purchased a pipe of Amontillado wine but is not sure he had gotten the genuine article. He should, he says, have consulted Fortunato, who prides himself on being an expert on wine, adding that because Fortunato is engaged, he will go instead to Luchesi. Knowing his victim’s vanity, Montresor baits him by saying that some fools argue that Luchesi’s taste is as fine as Fortunato’s. The latter is hooked, and Montresor conducts him to his empty palazzo and leads him down into the family catacombs. Please mark me brainliest. I hope you have a nice day/night :)

Which sentence uses an infinitive as the object of the verb?
elena-s [515]

Answer: C. Martha's lawsuit was useful to punish the corporation for failing to pay its taxes over an eight year period.

Explanation:

In this sentence we can recognize infinitive direct-object phrase - to pay.

They can be found if we can ask a question ''what'' and in this case we are asking ''Martha's lawsuit was useful to punish what'' and then we are getting the answer which is ''to punish corporation for...'' In those kind of sentences when we are looking for the object of the verb, we must try to recognize if the infinitive phrase that we have(to punish in this case, and to pay) is making sense.

In this sentence we are having a direct object.

Nicki dashed up the shore and into the forest not stopping to think. She could feel the footsteps behind her the nameless thugs
Genrish500 [490]

Answer:

The second statement in the given excerpt illustrates that Nicki is a round character.

Explanation:

This is because she is feeling the footsteps of the thugs and also is able to think about their behaviour or character. She can compare their characteristics with the sacks of sugar because it can be bought and sold. She is not indulging into deep thinking by stopping in the woods. Rather she knows and thinks while moving forward and figuring out what to do.
