what is art? this question has been around since humans first identified mark making as "art". they probably argued "what is art

?" at that exact moment, too! we can appreciate the process in creating art (sculptures, music, paintings, etc) but not like the final product presented to us. i may not really listen to certain styles of music yet i know that that musician must compose the words, practice a melody thousands of times, and finally, record to a level of satisfaction. that is a lot of hard work, stress, and effort. it’s the same with art. i’ve put much effort in creating certain art pieces only to listen to some people "just not liking it". i have come to terms of accepting this as an exhibiting artist just as all other styles of artists.

In which voice is the subject first heard in Contrapunctus I, from The Art of Fugue?
Ghella [55]

Answer:

b. the second voice from the top, or alto

Explanation:

Fugue, in general, is a polyphonic composition that introduces the subject of a melodic theme by a voice or a part, to then be taken and refined by others.

Bach's The Art of Fugue is considered to be a masterpiece of music, divided into seven groups. Contrapunctus I is one of the simple figures, and in it, four voices are introduced. First heard is the second-highest voice from the top also known as alto.
