For #2, you would plug in “35” because a quarter is 25 cents and plug that into the equation instead of “5” like how you used for the nickel which is worth 5 cents. So they equation would be y x 25=z

Simplify each expression 2x-5y. If x=2/3 and y=1/4
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

2x - 5y

2(2/3) - 5(1/4)

(2/1 x 2/3) - (5/1 x 1/4)

(4/3) - (5/4)

(4/3 x 4/4) - (5/4 x 3/3)

16/12 - 15/12

HELP HER WITH MULTIPLY IT AND DIVIDE IT AND COMPARE IT (the number was 27)
Lina20 [59]
You multiply 9 and 3 to get 27. you divide 27 and 9 to get 3. or you divide 27 and 3 to get 9. the comparison would be the difference in dividing to get a smaller number(quotient) and multiplying to get a bigger number(product)

If the demand function for a commodity is given by the equation
Jet001 [13]

Answer:

q=26.92 p=31.13

Step-by-step explanation:

p^{2} +16q=1400\\\\q=\frac{1400-p^{2} }{16} ;\\\\700-p^{2} +10q=0\\\\q=\frac{p^{2}-700 }{10} ;\\\\

q=q\\\\\frac{1400-p^{2} }{16} =\frac{p^{2}-700 }{10} \\\\10(1400-p^{2})=16(p^{2}-700)\\\\14000-10p^{2}=16p^{2}-11200\\\\14000+11200=16p^{2}+10p^{2}\\\\25200=26p^{2}\\\\p^{2}=\frac{25200}{26} \\\\p=+\sqrt{\frac{25200}{26}} \\\\p=31.13

replace p in any equation and

q=\frac{1400-p^{2} }{16} \\\\q=\frac{1400-(31.13)^{2} }{16}\\\\q=26.92
