Answer: 13%

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1:

5000

10% of 5000=500

5% of 5000=250

25%=500+500+250= 1250 rupees

so...

5000-1250= 3750 INR, which is the original price, <u>BEFORE THE 25% WAS ADDED</u>

but..

They only want a 10% discount of the price which is 25% above the cost (5000). So essentially we want to find  15%, because 25%-10%=15%

so if...

10%=500

5%=250

15%=750 INR

this means the price with the 10% discount off 25%= 4250 INR (5000-750)

now we need to find the percentage change. For this we need to subtract the price with the 15% discount with the price BEFORE THE 25% was added

e.g 4250-3750= 500INR

Then.. divide this price with the original price before the 25% was added

e.g 500/3750= 2/15=0.13

So...

Convert 0.13 into a percentage=13%

The PERCENTAGE PROFIT of the owner is 13%

P.S Please could someone double check this answer as I am only 15 years old and may have gotten some working out wrong! Thank you

Factor Trinomials (a=1)<br> factor <br><br> x^2-10x+16
dem82 [27]

Answer:

(x-8)(x-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

factors of 16:

1 x 16

2 x 8

4 x 4

i'll select 2 and 8 as values because they can add up to 10

(x-8)(x-2)

i made them both negative so the middle term would be -10 but, when multiplied, would equal positive 16

Can someone help me with this question.
Korolek [52]

Answer:

lesser x = -4

greater x = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

here's the solution :-

=》

{x}^{2} + 3x - 4 = 0

=》

{x}^{2} + 4x - x - 4

=》

x(x + 4) - 1(x + 4)

=》

(x + 4)(x - 1)

now, there are two cases

case 1) where x + 4 = 0

=》x = -4

case 2) where x - 1 = 0

=》x = 1

Elodia [21]

Answer: -4x(4x - 15)

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = -16x^{2} + 60x

y = -16x^{2} + 60x

=> - (16x^{2} - 60x)

=> -4x(4x - 15)

Is 6,7,13 a right triangle
Scilla [17]

Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

For a right triangle, according to the Pythagorean Theorem, the 2 sides squared must equal the hypotenuse squared. (a^{2} +b^{2} =c^{2})

The hypotenuse is the longest side so 13^{2}=169

6^{2}=36\\7^{2}=49

36 + 49 does not equal 169
