A synonym is a word that has the same or nearly same meaning as another word.
An antonym is a word that has the opposite meaning of a word.
An inference is a conclusions reached based on evidence and reasoning.

We know that Andrea’s opponent was honest and straightforward. I infer that Andrea schemed a way to win the contest. I think this because the sentence uses the word “but” which seems to contradict the previous statement about Andrea’s opponent.

I inferred the meaning of ‘guile’ so that means I the clue I used was an inference.

Now, I will search up the definition of guile.
