Answer: 20%

Step-by-step explanation: Add all the marbles together:5 + 8 + 6 +11= 30

Find the probability of orange: 6/30

Now divide 6 by 30= .2

Turn .2 into a decimal: 20%

Answer: y=-3x+2

Step-by-step explanation:

y-y1=m(x-x1) equation

y+4=-3(x-2) substitute equation

y+4=-3x+6 multiply (x-2) by -3

y=-3x+2 move 4 to other side

HELP PLEASE 100 POINTS AND BRAINLIEST!
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

(D)Prove that opposite sides are congruent and that the slopes of consecutive sides are opposite reciprocals

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us verify the choosen option

In Quadrilateral ABCD with points A(-2,0), B(0,-2), C(-3,-5), D(-5,-3)

Using the distance formula

Distance=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

|AB|=\sqrt{(0-(-2))^2+(-2-0)^2}=\sqrt{8}=2\sqrt{2}\\|CD|=\sqrt{(-5+3))^2+(-3+5)^2}=\sqrt{8}=2\sqrt{2}\\|BC|=\sqrt{(-3-0))^2+(-5+2)^2}=\sqrt{18}=3\sqrt{2}\\|AD|=\sqrt{(-5+2)^2+(-3-0)^2}=\sqrt{18}=3\sqrt{2}\\

Since |AB| is congruent to |CD| and |BC| is congruent to |AD|, we conclude that opposite sides are congruent.

Next, let us consider the slope.

Slope of |AB|= \frac{-2-0}{0-(-2)} =\frac{-2}{2}=-1

Slope of |BC|=\frac{-5+2}{-3-0} =\frac{-3}{-3}=1

Since the slopes of consecutive sides are opposite reciprocals, therefore ABCD is a rectangle.

<u>Option D is the correct option.</u>

The one I need help in is 13 the one that says Write
Vsevolod [243]

Example: lets say you chose the number 4,444

The greatest value will be the first 4 because the rest of the fours will turn into zeros and it will just be 4,000 but if we chose ny of the other numbers it would 400 or 40

The least value will be the last four or the second to last. i'm not sure but this is because it will be 40 or 4 when you take the rest of the numbers out.

Hope this help. if there is a misunderstanding  in my explanation, please say so

Explain in your own words how to find the equation of the horizontal line that passes through (3.5, 4.5) (HELP PLEASE ITS A QUIZ
Volgvan

Answer:

y=4.5

Step-by-step explanation:

You just have to remember that the equation of a horizontal line is a constant function, meaning that no matter what values are entered into the system, the answer for Y will always be the same. So in this case the function will be y=mx+b, since m or the slope in a horizontal line is 0 "x" will also be 0, so y=b, in this case as we can see in the point we are given b=4.5, so y=4.5
