Si, En hebreo significa "rededicación", pero es sobre todo el nombre de una de las celebraciones más importantes del judaísmo.

En español se dice Janucá, pero la festividad -de ocho días de duración- es más conocida por su grafía en inglés, Hanukkah.

Se celebra todos los años a partir del 25 de Kislev, el tercer mes del calendario (lunar) hebreo, que en el calendario Gregoriano se corresponde con finales de noviembre o inicios de diciembre.

Eso hizo que en 2013, por ejemplo, Janucá coincidiera con la fiesta estadounidense de Acción de Gracias y el año pasado coincidió con Navidad.
