Answer:

2/6 = 1/3

8/1 = 8

2/4 = 4/8

2/8 = 1/4

4/4 = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

2/2 = 1 and 6/2 = 3 so that would make the equivalent fraction 1/3

for 8/1 it is the same as just 8

2*2 = 4 and 4*2 = 8 so that would make the equivalent fraction 4/8

the same goes for 2/8 which is 1/4

and 4/4 is just 1

PLEASE RATE!! I hope this helps!!

If 6a=5b, what are the following ratios? a+b/b
lidiya [134]

Our Equation is

6a=5b

which means

a = 5b/6

Now we have to find this ration

\frac{a+b}{b}

Inserting value of a into this equation

=\frac{\frac{5b}{6}+b}{b}

=\frac{\frac{11b}{6}}{b}

=\frac{11b}{6b}

=\frac{11}{6}

Cards = x

Bouquets = y

They spend 2 on each card so 2x and 3.50 for each bouquet so 3.50y add those together to get the total they can spend 2x + 3.50y = 360

Then add the sales together: 6x + 8y = 900

Answer: D. 2x + 3.50y = 360; 6x + 8y = 900

The figure is made up of a cylinder and a sphere which has been cut in half. The radius of each half sphere is 5 mm. What is
alexgriva [62]
<h2>Answer:</h2>

<em>Rounded to the nearest hundredth the volume of the composite figure is:</em>

<em>1308 33 cubic millimeters</em>

<h2>Explanation:</h2>

Hello! I wrote the complete question in a comment above. The volume of a cylinder is defined as:

V_{c}=\pi r^2 h \\ \\ r:radius \\ \\ h:height

While the volume of half a sphere is:

V_{hs}=\frac{2}{3}\pi r^3

Since we have 2 half spheres, then the volume of these is the same as the volume of a sphere:

V_{s}=\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3

Then, the composite figure is:

V=\pi r^2 h +\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3 \\ \\ V=\pi r^2(h+\frac{4}{3}r)

The radius of the cylinder is the same of the radius of each half sphere. So:

r=5mm \\ \\ h=10mm \\ \\ \\ V=(3.14) (5)^2((10)+\frac{4}{3}(5)) \\ \\ V=25(3.14)(10+\frac{20}{3}) \\ \\ \boxed{V\approx 1308.33mm^3}

Roy drives a sedan that gets mileage of 30 miles per gallon. If fuel consumption is represented by g and mileage by m, which fun
Troyanec [42]

This question is given you the information of the two units mileage in terms of miles per gallon and fuel consumption. G is gallons. Therefore meaning, total distance is equal (=) to mileage times (X) fuel consumption.

The answer is: A) m = f(g) = 30 × g
