Answer:

2 cartons

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey! To start, we need to determine what we already know, Martine needs 8 cups worth of broth, but can only find 32-fluid ounce cartons.

Next, we need to find what we need to know, how many fluid ounces are in a cup? <em>There are 8 fluid ounces in 1 cup!</em>

Now, all we need to do is convert our cups to be able to find out how many cartons we need! So, to do this, we are going to multiply our number of cups by the number of fluid ounces in just 1 cup (so 8!).

<em>8 cups x 8 fluid ounces (per 1 cup) = 64 fluid ounces</em>

So! Martina needs 64 fluid ounces of broth to be able to create her recipe!

<em>But, we aren't finished just yet, as we need to find how many cartons Martina needs! Like we did before, we know that there a 32 fluid ounces in 1 carton so if we have 64 fluid ounces in the recipe, all we need to do is divide 64 by 32 to find out how many cartons we need!</em>

<em>64 fluid ounces (8 cups worth) ÷ 32 fluid ounces (per carton) = 2 cartons</em>

Melina needs to buy 2 cartons of broth to be able to complete her recipe.

Hope this Helps! :)

Answer:

(q)

cb \:  =  \sqrt{4 {}^{2}  +  {3}^{2} }

cb = 5

q =  \sqrt{ {13}^{2}  -  {5}^{2} }

q = 12

(r)

cb = \sqrt{ {13}^{2} -  {5}^{2}  }

cb = 12

r =  \sqrt{12 {}^{2} - 5 {}^{2}  }

r =  \sqrt{119}

r = 10.91

(s)

ab =  \sqrt{20 {}^{2}  - 16 {}^{2} }

ab = 12

s =  \sqrt{12 {}^{2} + 8 {}^{2}  }

s = 4 \sqrt{13}

s = 14.42

What is the exact circumference of a circle with a diameter of 40 feet?
Irina-Kira [14]

Answer:

The answer is

<h2>126 feet</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Circumference of a circle is πd

Where d is the diameter

From the question

d = 40 feet

Circumference of the circle is

Jayesh determines that he needs to sell more than $200 worth of fruit athis produce stand in order to make a profit. Part A.Whic
jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer:

s > 200

Step-by-step explanation:

Note that

> means greater than

< means less than

for example : 2 < 3 means 2 is less than 3

3 >2 means 3 is greater than 2

If he needs to sell more than 200, sales has to be greater than 200 = s > 200

If θ=0rad at t=0s, what is the blade's angular position at t=20s
babunello [35]
The attached figure represents the relation between ω (rpm) and t (seconds)
To find the blade's angular position in radians ⇒ ω will be converted from (rpm) to (rad/s)
              ω = 250 (rpm) = 250 * (2π/60) = (25/3)π    rad/s
              ω = 100 (rpm) = 100 * (2π/60) = (10/3)π    rad/s

and from the figure it is clear that the operation is at constant speed but with variable levels
            ⇒   ω = dθ/dt   ⇒   dθ = ω dt

            ∴    θ = ∫₀²⁰  ω dt

while ω is not fixed from (t = 0) to (t =20)
the integral will divided to 3 integrals as follow;
       ω = 0                                          from t = 0  to t = 5
       ω = 250 (rpm) = (25/3)π            from t = 5   to t = 15
       ω = 100 (rpm) = (10/3)π            from t = 15 to t = 20

∴ θ = ∫₀⁵  (0) dt   + ∫₅¹⁵  (25/3)π dt + ∫₁₅²⁰  (10/3)π dt

the first integral = 0
the second integral = (25/3)π t = (25/3)π (15-5) = (250/3)π
the third integral = (10/3)π t = (25/3)π (20-15) = (50/3)π

∴ θ = 0 + (250/3)π + (50/3)π = 100 π

while the complete revolution = 2π
so instantaneously at t = 20
∴ θ = 100 π - 50 * 2 π = 0 rad

Which mean:
the blade will be at zero position making no of revolution = (100π)/(2π) = 50
