In engineering, physics and chemistry, the study of transport phenomena concerns the exchange of mass, energy, charge, momentum and angular momentum between observed and studied systems. While it draws from fields as diverse as continuum mechanics and thermodynamics, it places a heavy emphasis on the commonalities between the topics covered. Mass, momentum, and heat transport all share a very similar mathematical framework, and the parallels between them are exploited in the study of transport phenomena to draw deep mathematical connections that often provide very useful tools in the analysis of one field that are directly derived from the others.

The fundamental analysis in all three subfields of mass, heat, and momentum transfer are often grounded in the simple principle that the total sum of the quantities being studied must be conserved by the system and its environment. Thus, the different phenomena that lead to transport are each considered individually with the knowledge that the sum of their contributions must equal zero. This principle is useful for calculating many relevant quantities. For example, in fluid mechanics, a common use of transport analysis is to determine the velocity profile of a fluid flowing through a rigid volume.

Transport phenomena are ubiquitous throughout the engineering disciplines. Some of the most common examples of transport analysis in engineering are seen in the fields of process, chemical, biological,[1] and mechanical engineering, but the subject is a fundamental component of the curriculum in all disciplines involved in any way with fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and mass transfer. It is now considered to be a part of the engineering discipline as much as thermodynamics, mechanics, and electromagnetism.

Transport phenomena encompass all agents of physical change in the universe. Moreover, they are considered to be fundamental building blocks which developed the universe, and which is responsible for the success of all life on earth. However, the scope here is limited to the relationship of transport phenomena to artificial engineered systems.[2]

Which of the following benefits of neuromotor exercise will have the GREATEST impact on self-esteem? a) Enhanced flexibility b)
kakasveta [241]

Increased self-efficacy is the neuromotor exercise that will have the GREATEST impact on self-esteem

A person's self-efficacy relates to their confidence in their ability to carry out the behaviors required to achieve particular performance goals (Bandura, 1977, 1986, 1997). The belief in one's capacity to exercise control over one's own motivation, behavior, and social environment is known as self-efficacy. Self-efficacy, in Bandura's view, is a component of the self-system, which also includes one's attitudes, capacities, and cognitive talents.

This system has a significant impact on how we perceive and react to various events. An essential component of this self-system is self-efficacy. What objectives we pursue, how we carry them out, and how we evaluate our own performance are all influenced by self-efficacy.

The U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology defines the incident response life cycle as having four main processes:
dedylja [7]

Answer:

Post-incident activity

Explanation:

The incident response life cycle is to preventing and mitigating from the threat. It needs an enterprise so that the organized approach block the security breaches and to improve the network defenses.

It is conducted by:

  • To identify the weak point of the candidate
  • To make hard the security so that the incident could not happen again.
  • Safeguards should be there.
  • An unsuccessful event also could be taken as an incident.

Select the enemies the ancient Romans successfully battled. Select all that apply. -Samnites
Dominik [7]
The enemies that the ancient romans successfully battled are the following; • Celtics – they are referred to the tribes of people during the iron age. • Etruscans – they are known for their mineral resources that are rich and in the same time, they contain the major Mediterranean trading power. • Carthaginians – their origins are traced to the Phoenicians in which they have either less or more control with their city state because of the fall of the tyre with the Babylonian. <span>
