Why were those involved with the bacon rebellion upset
aev [14]
Just took a test on this. Bacons rebellion upset the rich, but he was seen a hero to the poor. Bacon rebelled against the governor of Virginia at the time, William Berkly.  He rebelled against William because he would only look after the rich and himself. He taxed the poor, but not the rich. He was unfair to the poor.  Bacon was rich himself, but he still helped the poor by leading the rebellion. I hope this helps:)

The passage below comes from a speech given by Senator Henry Cabot Lodge in 1909:
Elis [28]

Answer: It would have reduced the number of foreign-born people entering the United States.

When an additional requirement for immigration is put in place, it becomes harder for people to qualify. Therefore, less people are able to come into the country.

The bill would not necessarily mean that workers would not be able to find jobs, as many jobs did not require literacy. Moreover, the bill did not apply to people who had already entered the United States. For the same reason, it would not have changed the number of deportations. Finally, the bill would not have necessarily impacted the number of jobs that Americans could access, as this depends on many other factors. The only possible answer is the fourth option.

How does the use of perspective affect the appearance of individuals in Renaissance paintings?
Ivan
To create the visual illusion of depth on a flat surface, Renaissance painters used the technique called foreshortening which can make individuals look shorter or have shrunken proportions. For an example see the painting "The Lamentation of Christ" by Andrea Mantegna c.1480.
