HELP
Anvisha [2.4K]

Answer: to meet the demands of different groups to be enfranchised

Explanation:

Even though the United States was founded to be a free country, this freedom was not a reality to a lot of groups such as Black people and women, both of whom found that they could not vote in the country they called home.

The 15th and 24th Amendments aimed to remove this disenfranchisement from Black Americans by constitutionally enforcing their rights to vote and for women, the 19th Amendment took care of that. The 26th Amendment was passed to end the disenfranchisement of people within the age group of 18 - 21 who were eligible for military service but were ineligible to vote.

Why do many civil cases emd up with a settlement befor the case to trial ?
Studentka2010 [4]

Answer: with Civil cases Its hard to tell..

Explanation:

Most civil cases are settled by mutual agreement between the parties. A dispute can be settled even before a suit is filed. Once a suit is filed, it can be settled before the trial begins, during the trial, while the jury is deliberating, or even after a verdict is rendered. ... However, not every case goes to trial. Therefore It's no secret that the overwhelming majority of criminal cases never reach trial. The prosecution may dismiss charges, perhaps because of a lack of evidence. Sometimes prosecutors decide not to refile charges after a felony defendant prevails at the preliminary hearing. Also The trial judge can "direct" a verdict for the defendant in a jury trial or dismiss in a case tried by the judge. Procedural defects in a lawsuit often involve the wrong court or location (venue) or that the court has no authority, or jurisdiction, over the defendant. And that Is why many civil cases end up with a settlement before the case goes to trial.

Why would some states need to have different laws about conserving the environment than others?
Nataly_w [17]

Answer: Some states may have different laws regarding the conservation of the environment as there is a difference of population between the states. This difference of population can result in some states having more pollution (higher populated states), and other states having less pollution (less populated states) resulting in different laws
