PLEASE HELP I NEED ANSWER
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

The area of the figure is 61.24 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The area for the parallelogram is determined by base x height, so 7 x 6 = 42.

The area of a circle is \pir², with r being the radius, so that means the circle area is 38.48, but because its a semicircle, its half of that, so the area is 19.24.

42 + 19.24 = 61.24

The second of the three numbers is 4 times the first the third is 2 more than the second. If the second number is decreased by t
Sergeu [11.5K]

Answer:

the three numbers = -8, -32, -30

Step-by-step explanation:

let the first number = a

let the second number = b

let the third number = c

From the first statement:  b = 4a

From the second statement: c = b + 2

From the third statement: b - 2c = 28

From the above equations, we can solve (1) and (2) together.

c = b + 2

b = c - 2

Also, b - 2c = 28

(c - 2) - 2c = 28

c - 2 - 2c = 28

-c = 30

c = -30

b = -30 - 2

  = -32

b = 4a

a = b/4

a = -32/4

a = -8

Therefore, the three numbers = -8, -32, -30

Let f(X) = X + 8 and g(X) = x^2 - 6x - 7 find f(g(2)).
Gennadij [26K]
So what you do is evaluate g(2) then plug that value in for x in f(x)

g(2)=2^2-6(2)-7
g(2)=4-12-7
g(2)=-15

now
f(-15)=-15+8
f(-15)=-7

f(g(2)=-7

Operations with radical expression
lord [1]

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

41 sqrt(3)

Discussion:

My first reaction to the problem was:

sqrt(27) = sqrt ( 3 * 9) = 3 sqrt(3)    and

sqrt(48) = sqrt (3*16)  = 4 sqrt(3).

So...

7 * sqrt(27) +  5 sqrt(48) =

7 * (3 sqrt(3)) + 5 * (4 sqrt(3)) =

21 sqrt(3) + 20 sqrt(3) =

41 sqrt(3)

Regards,

MrB

P.S.  I'll be on vacation from Friday, Dec 22 to Jan 2, 2019. Have a Great New Year!
