Answer:

45

Step-by-step explanation:

Since it given that her parent and grandmother attend a soccer game. Thus, we can see that there is no students.

Also given that:

Student tickets: $6

Non-Student tickets : $12

Parking : $9

Thus,

Non- Student tickets:$ 12 (Parents and grandmother are not students)

Parking: $9 ( Since they attend a soccer game they need somewhere to park)

Parents = 2 person (Mom and Dad)

Grandmother = 1 person

1 + 2 = 3

Now,

Since Non-student tickets = $12

3 * 12 +9

36 + 9

45

Hence, the family spend $45 to attend the game.

Alina [70]

Answer:

580 is spent on onions and potatoes

Step-by-step explanation:

The grocery store ordered 47 bags of onions, and 1 bag costs 2.

It also ordered 167 bags of potatoes, and the bag costs 3.

47 bags onions X 2 render 94

162 bags potatoes X 3 render 486

94 (cost of onions) + 486 (cost of potatoes) = 580

Ln 2 - ln (3x + 2) =1
Westkost [7]
When you add 2 logs together, you get the log of the product.
When you subtract 2 logs, you get the log of the quotient.

Like this:

     Ln(2) - Ln(3x+2) is the Ln(2/3x+2) .

So now you have Ln(2/3x+2) = 1

Raise 'e' to the power of
each side of the equation: (2/3x+2) = e¹

Multiply each side by (3x+2): 2 = (e) (3x+2)

Divide each side by 'e': 2/e = 3x + 2

Subtract 2 from each side: (2/e) - 2 = 3x

Divide each side by 3: x = [ (2/e) - 2 ] / 3

                                                         = approx. -0.421... (rounded)

I checked this by writing it into the original equation in place of 'x'.
That took my about 5 tries, but it finally checked OK.

Please. DON't use my answer unless you understand
where it came from.
