Can someone plz help me with Algebra 2....... :) Will give Brainliest!!
Anarel [89]
Using logarithms property of log(x)+log(y)=log(xy)
so here, you can sum the equation to;
log((x+6)*(x-6))=2
so you can simply say that;
log_{8}((x+6)( x-6))=2
and by multiplying (x+6)*(x-6)
log_{8}(x^2-36)=2
and as you know also that;
a^{b}=c is same as log _{a}c=b
so you can simply state it as;
8^2=x^2-36
64=x^2-36
64+36=x^2
x^2=100
x=10
And you can check your work by substituting with 10 instead of x in the original function.
Hope this helps!

\huge\textsf{This equation/question should be easy to}\\\\\huge\textsf{to solve for because, we have everything you}\\\\\huge\textsf{you will need on your graph and somewhat in}\\\\\huge\textsf{the question because it already gave you the}\\\\\huge\boxed{\mathsf{x-intercept}}\huge\textsf{.}
\mathsf{y = |x| - 2}

\mathsf{y = |0| - 2}

\mathsf{y = 0 - 2}

\mathsf{y = -2}

ABCD is a parallelogram.
kow [346]

Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal lengths, so ...

... AB = CD

... 6x +30 = 2y -10

and

... BC = AD

... 2x -5 = y -35

_____

The equations can be put in standard form to get

... 3x -y = -20

... 2x -y = -30

Subtracting the second from the first, we get

... x = 10

Solving for y, we have

... y = 2x+30 = 2·10 +30 = 50

The values of x and y are x=10, y=50.

_____

AB = 6x+30 = 90

BC = 2x-5 = 15

The inverse functions of sine, cos and tan functions are csc, sec and cot respectively.

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

The reciprocals of sine, cos and tan functions are csc, sec and cot functions. The reciprocal of cosine function is secant, (sec)  sec θ = $\frac{1}{cos \theta}

The inverse or reciprocal function is cosecant (csc), $ csc \theta = \frac{1}{sin\theta}

The inverse tangent function is cotangent (cot) , expressed in two ways: $ cot\theta = \frac{1}{tan\theta}   or $ cot\theta = \frac{cos\theta}{sin \theta}

So $ tan\theta = \frac{sin \theta}{cos \theta} then its reciprocal or inverse is termed as cot θ.
