⚠ANSWER⚠

Dependent event is when two events are dependent events, one event influences the probability of another event whereas independent event has no effect on the probability of another event occurring.

↪DEPENDENT EVENT

When two events are dependent events, one event influences the probability of another event. A dependent event is an event that relies on another event to happen first. Dependent events in probability are no different from dependent events in real life. If you want to attend a concert, it might depend on whether you get overtime at work. if you want to visit family out of the country next month, it depends on whether or not you can get a passport in time. More formally, we say that when two events are dependent, the occurrence of one event influences the probability of another event.

Simple examples of dependent events

 1. Robbing a bank and going to jail.
 2. Not paying your power bill on time and having your power cut off.
 3. Boarding a plane first and finding a good seat.
 4. Parking illegally and getting a parking ticket.

↪INDEPENDENT EVENT

An independent event is an event that has no connection to another event’s chances of happening (or not happening). In other words, the event has no effect on the probability of another event occurring. Independent events in probability are no different from independent events in real life. Where you work has no effect on what color car you drive. Buying a lottery ticket has no effect on having a child with blue eyes.

When two events are independent, one event does not influence the probability of another event.

Simple examples of independent events

 1. Owning a dog and growing your own herb garden.
 2. Paying off your mortgage early and owning a Chevy Cavalier.
 3. Winning the lottery and running out of milk.
 4. Buying a lottery ticket and finding a penny on the floor.

You can use GP in many ways.

 • Suppose you invested some money at somewhere.The money increases in a constant ratio.You can use geometric sequence in order to find your money after some years.
 • In science you can use it to find growth of bacteria which is exponential.

0.27 recurring as a fraction please
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

\frac{3}{11}

Step-by-step explanation:

assuming the recurring digits are 0.272727.... , then

we require 2 equations with the repeating digits placed after the decimal point.

let x = 0.2727.... (1) ← multiply both sides by 100

100x = 27.2727... (2)

subtract (1) from (2) thus eliminating the repeating digits

99x = 27 ( divide both sides by 99 )

x = \frac{27}{99} = \frac{3}{11} ← in simplest form

Please help mee , i will marl the brainliest .
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

n = - 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given k(x) then k(x) + n is a vertical translation of k(x)

• If n > 0 then a shift up of n units

• If n < 0 then a shift down of n units

Here k(x) has been shifted from (0, 0 ) to (0, - 6 )

That is a shift down of 6 units, then

p(x) = k(x) - 6

That is n = - 6

What is the correlation coefficient with the following data points: (2,49), (45,2), (5,6)?
forsale [732]

Answer:

-0.62

Step-by-step explanation:

If you need, you can simply use a linear regression calculator! Most of them give the option to input points and calculate a equation for the line of best fit and a correlation coefficient.
