Answer:

This ailing economy of early 1837 led investors to panic – a bank run ensued – giving the crisis its name. The run came to a head on May 10, 1837, when banks in New York City ran out of gold and silver. They suspended specie payments and would no longer redeem commercial paper in specie at full face value.

The correct answer is:

B. The United States became more respected; Americans were proud of their country.

The War of 1812 was a fight between the United States, the United Kingdom, and their respective allies from June 1812 to February 1815. The United States didn't have great relations with the other European countries because of the wars among them. By winning a war with the UK, the United States got much more respect from the other countries. Americans were proud of their country and were able to leave aside the existing differences since England seized the original colonies from the Netherlands in 1659.

solniwko [45]
I would say the answer is A because communism is when the government controls businesses, so it makes sense that business leaders would have been forced to work with the gov't. Hope this helps. :)

What is the significance of having three branches of government? Are there advantages if the responsibility to govern is shoulde
lisov135 [29]

Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

The significance of having three branches of government is tremendous and can't be overemphasized. Some of the significance includes:

1. It makes the government effective and efficient.

2. Having three branches of government protects the rights of the citizens

3. It prevents arbitrary use of power by the government

Are there advantages if the responsibility to govern is shouldered only by one branch?

No there are no advantages. If any branch of government turned has all the power of the executive, judiciary, and legislative there will eventually be an arbitrary use of power in the long run, and this will affect the citizens and that society at large. This has been proven in human history in the past in the case of the dictator and absolute monarchy.
