Write down the portion number amount as a numerator over the whole number amount. Calculate the equation. The result is the decimal equivalent of the percentage. Multiply the decimal equivalent of the percentage by 100; or move the number's decimal point over two places to the right

11.MARTIAN FINDS A SHIRT ON SLAE FOR 10% OFF AT A DEPARTMENT STORE. THE ORIGINAL PRICE WAS $20.Martain must also pay 8.5% sales
Snowcat [4.5K]
A. Find 10% of $20, which is $2. Then subtract the sale 20-2, which is $18
B. Since you know the price without taxes is $18, you have to multiply 8.5% of 18, which is $1.53. $18.00 + $1.53= $19.53

So the answer is $19.53

Veseljchak [2.6K]

Answer:

0|   7, 9,9,9

1|    3,5,6

2|   0,6

3|

4|   4

Notation: For this case the first number represent the first digit and the second represent the second digit.

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we have the following dataset given:

9,16,9,15,20,13,7,26,9,44

The first step is order the data on increasing way and we got:

7,9,9,9, 13,15, 16,20,26,44

And we can create the stem plot like this:

0|   7, 9,9,9

1|    3,5,6

2|   0,6

3|

4|   4

Notation: For this case the first number represent the first digit and the second represent the second digit

Can someone help me answer this question please
cluponka [151]
If they ask you to find the rate of change, they're basically just asking for you to use the slope formula. In this case, you would use the coordinates (2, 140) and (7, 480).

Once you have those, plug them into y2 - y1 / x2 - x1.

I got 68. But do it yourself to check.

Solve the following systems of equations x+y=3 ; y+z=6 ; x+z=5.
lesantik [10]

Answer:

x = 1

y = 2

z = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equations

x + y = 3

or

x = 3 - y   .............(1)

y + z = 6  .................(2)

x + z = 5 ............(3)

substituting 1 in equation 3, we get

( 3 - y ) + z = 5

or

3 - y + z = 5

or

z = 2 + y       ...............(4)

now,

substituting 4 in equation 2, we get

y + (  2 + y ) = 6

or

2 + 2y = 6

or

2y = 4

or

y = 2

substituting value of y in equation 4 we get

z = 2 + 2 = 4

and substituting value of y in equation 1 we get

x = 3 - 2 = 1

thus,

x = 1

y = 2

z = 4
