Why are the triangles congruent?

Mathematics

You can prove triangles’ congruence with things called axioms (or postulates). For triangles, there are four:

(S means Side, A means Angle)

SAS

SSS

ASA

AAS

If you go round a triangle, in order (so aside, then the next angle, next side, etc.), and find that everything from one of these postulates is equal, you have two congruent triangles.

(These triangles’ sides and angles, which are marked on the image, are equal to the other’s)

This diagram shows the SAS axiom, as the equal parts of the triangle go in order of a side (Y to Z), an angle (Y to Z to X), and another side (Z to X).

Hope this helps!

hi

Two triangles are congruent if their corresponding sides are equal in length, and their corresponding angles are equal in measure.

Volume of the prism: V= Ab*h
Area of the base of the prism: Ab=Area of the equilateral triangle
Height of the prism: h=6

Ab=A triangle= sqrt(3)/4*s^2
Ab=sqrt(3)/4*3^2
Ab=sqrt(3)/4*9
Ab=9 sqrt(3)/4

V=Ab*h
V=[9 sqrt(3)/4](6)
V=54 sqrt(3) /4
V=27 sqrt(3) / 2
V=27/2 sqrt(3)

Answer:

  h(g(x)) = (1/5)x² +4/5

Step-by-step explanation:

  (h\circ g)(x)=h(g(x))=h(x^2+2) = \dfrac{(x^2+2)+2}{5}=\dfrac{x^2+4}{5}\\\\\boxed{(h\circ g)(x)=\dfrac{1}{5}x^2+\dfrac{4}{5}}

There were 450 tickets purchased for a major league baseball game. the general admission tickets cost $6.50 and the upper box ti
lidiya [134]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

So you first pretend they were all the general admission tickets which is

450x6.50$=2925$ So the number is 4237.50$-2925$=1312.50$ away from the actual price. The price difference between the two is 10.00$-6.50$= 3.50$

Then you put the total price difference 1312.50$ and divide by 3.50$ then you get the amount of upper box tickets. 1312.50$/3.50$=375( Amount of Upper box. So now you know how many upper box were bought. You take it away from 450 tickets sold. 450-375=75

375x10=3750$

75x6.5=487.5$

3750$+487.5$=4237.5$

Hope that helped you!

Which set of side lengths represents a triangle with 3 lines of reflectional symmetry?
Bezzdna [24]
O que posso acrescentar é que 3 linhas de segmentos reflexivas no triângulo definem o baricentro... estas 3 linhas serão as medianas do triângulo e o baricentro divide as linhas em 3 partes iguais.
