Answer: A black hole is a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can not get out. The gravity is so strong because matter has been squeezed into a tiny space. This can happen when a star is dying. Because no light can get out, people can't see black holes.

Answer:

Black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothing — no particles or even electromagnetic radiation such as light — can escape from it. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole.

Could someone check my work?
Naily [24]
The answer is B. "He asked himself where it had come from and how; the past provided no explanation, and the future could not justify it."

This option is not a dark humor because it does not show the opposite side of happiness. The other choices explain that although there is happiness, he considered it as a burden- making it a dark humor.

Those are books that need to be returned to the library what is the antecedent of the pronoun those
uranmaximum [27]

Question:

What is the antecedent of the pronoun those?

Sentence: Those are books that need to be returned to the library

Answer:

Books

Pronouns are used to replace nouns with more general terms that don't describe a specific person or place. The antecedent of a pronoun is the word that the pronoun replaces.

In the case of this sentence, the pronoun those replaces the word books, therefore the antecedent of the pronoun those is books.
