The governments of most Central Asian countries today can best be characterized as
Maksim231197 [3]

After the fall of the former Soviet Union and the rapid disappearance of communism in Europe, the population of the former Soviet States were extremely happy about the situation, and with the help of the West most of the countries in this region made a move to democracy. These principal Central Asian countries are Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Unfortunately, ten years later the jubilation about the democratization process in this region has gone sour, and the reality today is that most of these countries are turning into Dictatorships. Even though, the governments of these countries promised to support democratic ruled, they are now clearly  embarked in non-democratic ruled.

The western democracies are alarmed by these trend, and they are trying to do what they can but no one knows what the results will be.

What was crucial to the Germans so freely accepting Nazism?
Vilka [71]

I believe the answer is: A) an uncompromising belief that they were the superior race

By adopting the belief that they are superior, they feel that they have the right to kill and execute members of different cultures like animals. This also make them feel that they are the most suitable rulers for the world, which they use to justify their actions when they invade neighbouring countries.

_____ models an appropriate response to a feared stimulus in graduated steps, after which the client attempts to imitate the mod
shutvik [7]
The correct answer is participant modeling.

Participant modeling refers to a psychotherapy technique in which a therapist models or demonstrates to their client how to respond to a fear provoking stimulus in gradual steps. After this, the client is encouraged to imitate the therapist's modeled behavior step-by-step so that he or she can learn how to cope with the fear provoking stimulus when faced with it outside a therapy setting.

What European pean assumptions Africans does the Atlantic slave trade show
Masteriza [31]
I would say that one assumption is the superiority of Europeans over Africans: their belief that somehow they had the right to enslave other people.

This could be connected to their racism (they thought the same of native Americans and there was a discussion whether native Americans have souls) or religious feeling of superiority ("pagans are not the same as Christians"...)

Norma-Jean [14]

The answer to this question is explained below.

Explanation:

There are two parts in this question. One is the possible heuristics when deciding whether you should study hard for the test, and secondly when ask someone for a date, or accept a date.

Studying hard for the test:

In deciding whether study hard for the test, you should consider the following heuristics:

  • Think of your previous experience about studying and see if it worked for you.
  • If it worked for you, go for it.
  • If it did not work for you, try a better solution this time.

Asking someone for date(or vice versa):

In deciding whether to go on a date with someone, the following heuristics should be kept in mind:

  • Think that what you know about the person you are asked or being asked about the date
  • Know what your own limits are
