Preserving the penny keeps consumer prices down and avoids harming low-income households. A penny can be used for decades and is more cost-efficient to produce than a nickel. The existence of pennies helps raise a lot of money for charities.

What replaced the feelings of sectionalism in the early 1800s?
zimovet [89]
It was "nationalism" that replaced the feelings of sectionalism in the early 1800s, since this was a time of great physical and emotional growth for the US, in which the country started to feel more like a single "unit".

How did Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcom X differ in their approaches to gaining civil rights?
morpeh [17]
Martin Luther King Jr. believed in peaceful protests. He led many non-violent organizations and protests, such as the March on Washington and the Montgomery Bus Boycott. He wanted everyone to be equal. Malcolm X, the head of the Nation of Islam, on the other hand believed that blacks were a superior being and that they didn't have to listen to what the white man said. He believed that they should show their superiority by any means possible even if that meant violence had to be used.

Question 2 of 20
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

A. Church officials believed the theory contradicted current religious

teachings.

Explanation:

The Catholic Church believed that if their teaching of geocentric model, which states that the Earth is in the centre of the solar system and that the whole universe revolves around it, was proven false, then people would start to question the rest of the Catholic Teachings. Therefore, Church officials decided to suppress heliocentrism model to avoid such stakes.
