This confused me.

The answer is A, denature.

As each type of enzymes has its own optimum temperature, like the temperature that they work fastest at, so if the temperature goes too high above the optimum, the 3D structure of the enzyme breaks apart and deforms and they can no longer bind with substrates thus no longer works. In this scenario, we say the enzyme is denatured.

Note that only if the temperature is too high can make the enzyme denature, if the temperature is too low, instead, the enzyme would be inactive, but once the temperature goes back to normal, they work again. Unlike denatured enzymes, which does not work even if the temperature goes back to normal.

iren2701 [21]

Answer:

A coral reef can be described as an ecosystem of the ocean which is made up by reef-building corals. Coral reefs benefit the environment in a number of ways, one of them is protecting the shoreline. Coral reefs tend to absorb most of the waves from the ocean and so help the coastline from erosion. It reduces the chances of ocean water waves to destroy the crops and buildings nearby and hence prevents erosion.

How does a tree use Cellular Respiration to store carbon?
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

In-spiration Respiration in trees releases energy stored in carbon compounds through a controlled process. Aerobic respiration uses O2 to oxidize organic compounds into CO2 and H2O. Energy released is stored within living cells as ATP, ETM, and a proton bank which are easily used for cell work.

Explanation:

You can put it into ur own words.
