In this exercise, you're required to provide the correct term for each of the given definition as follows;

List of references: this is a list of people who are readily available and most willing to discuss a job applicant with a potential employer. Thus, a potential employer can reach out to any of the referees on the list of references and make further enquiries about a job applicant.

Curriculum vitae (Resume): this is a formally written document that describes and outlines a worker's qualifications, employment experience, strengths, abilities, skills, educational background, and other qualifications. A curriculum vitae (resume) is often written after completing and obtaining an academic certificate from an accredited institution.

Cover letter: this is a short letter written by a job applicant to give a brief information about his or her qualifications for, and interest in an advertised job position.

Career portfolio: this is a collection of documents that demonstrate or depicts the experience, abilities, qualifications possessed by a particular worker. Typically, you should prepare a career portfolio before starting a job search. Some of the documents that are usually found in a professional career portfolio are:

 • List of references.
 • Curriculum vitae (résumé).
 • Cover letter.
 • Work samples.

Objective: a short, written sentence in a curriculum vitae (résumé) which is used to describe the type of work a job applicant desires.

Work samples: these are some examples of work an applicant has participated in or done previously, usually for a previous employer.

Nonprofit or voluntary agencies provide many services.
antiseptic1488 [7]
Nonprofit or voluntary agencies receive their funding from various sources:
1. Government grants - Most governments in the world offer funding for various nonprofit organisations. For example, civilian Search and Rescue organisations often receive government grants to buy equipment required.
2. Fundraising - Nonprofit or volunteer agencies often hold fundraising activities or drives. For example, the national blood bank holds drives where they encourage people to donate blood.
Free health care for the elderly is often provided by a nonprofit organisation. I've already mentioned the national blood bank. Another voluntary agency is the K9 (dog) Search and Rescue teams around the world. They provide their own dogs and training and are willing to travel to any country in the world to help in disaster situations, for example, the devastating earthquakes in Nepal.

Telomerase is an enzyme that is produced only in cells that are actively dividing. For this reason, it is generally absent from
rosijanka [135]

Answer: True

Explanation:

Telomerase is an enzyme that is produced in the body. It prevents the shortening of the length of telomeres.

Telomerase is not usually activated in the cells of the body but you can find them in cells responsible for the production of sperm and egg in humans.

In others for cells to keep living , the length of the telomere must be maintained and this is one of the reasons why cancer cells thrives in the body and keeps dividing and spreading because telomeres are always present in cells that keep dividing.

Telomere are very essential to growth of cancerous cells. Shortening the length of telomeres is not enough to kill cancerous cells as we have cancer cells with short length ( bone, kidney, prostate cancer). We have to combine other methods of cancer treatment to be able to eradicate the cancerous cells from the body.

Bone marrow is a body tissue where the cells are always dividing because this is crucial and essential for the replacement of old cells. In the bone marrow we can find enzyme telomerase present hence, this makes the bone marrow an exception.
