A)
Game 1 = 180

Game 2 = 200

Increase = 200 - 180 = 20

% Increase : Mind you the baseline for division or reference is the 180 and not the 200. The first one between the two numbers is the reference.

So % Increase =  (20 / 180) * 100%

                       =    (1/9)  * 100% =    11.11%

                 Increase = 11.11%

b)
Game 2 = 200

Game 3 = 180

Decrease = 200 - 180 = 20

% Decrease : Mind you the baseline for division or reference is the 200 and not the 180. The first one between the two numbers is the reference.

So % Increase =  (20 / 200) * 100%

                       =    (1/10)  * 100% =    10%

                 Decrease = 10%

Number 1.) In game 1 he scored 180 points, In game 2 he scored 200 points this means the score went up , so now you have to add, ( Addition ).

180 + x = 200       |         x=?                    ,    well 180 + 20 = 200.

Since there is 20 points added to 180 which gives us 200 there is an 11.11% increase .

Number 2.) , In the next game he scored 200 points , it asks what is the decreased number?

how many numbers did his score drop?  200 - 180 = 20   |

Now we must work backwards , There is a loss in points , ( 20 ) , so there is an 10% decrease.
  (200-180) / 180 * 100%  = 10%

                     20 / 200 * 100% = 10%

20 = The Answer with an 11.11% increase , there is a 10% decrease.

I hope this helps you a lot

Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer: There is no way we can find the point slope form of two points together since only one point is needed for point slope.

Step-by-step explanation: However the slope of these two points is undefined which means not even a slope-intercept equation would be possible for these two points.

Hope this helps!

Plz help me I had to put it was math Bc there is no science option plz help me thank you.
SVEN [57.7K]

Answer:

  see the attached

Step-by-step explanation:

To fill in the data table, you need information about the layers of the Earth. That information is provided in the second attachment.

Among other things, it shows the density of the rock layers varies over a range of almost 6 to 1 from the top layer to the inner core. Your representative liquids vary in density over a range of about 1.8 to 1, so clearly cannot match the relative densities.

In the attached spreadsheet, we have used the average of the top and bottom density values for each layer to represent the density of the layer. Then we did a linear mapping so that the minimum density maps to lamp oil, and the maximum density maps to honey. (You get slightly different results if you use a different mapping strategy.)

For your convenience in stacking your "density cylinder", we have shown the relative thickness of each of the layers as a percentage of the overall radius of the Earth. That is, if your cylinder is 100 mL deep, for example, then the top layer will be 0.5 mL deep, the next layer 11.3 mL deep, and so on.

__

We have elected not to use alcohol for the top layer, because it is miscible with all of the liquids immediately below that in the table. That is, you could not maintain alcohol as a separate layer in your cylinder because it would dissolve into the layer below. It might take a little effort (or care) to keep the lamp oil separated from the vegetable oil, as we expect those might try to mix, as well.

If you compare the scaled density values with the values for the "representative" liquids we have chosen, you will see that some are closer than others. The idea is to try to get the best match, while also choosing liquids that don't mix well.

(URGENT) Madelina wants to make a prediction using a linear model with a correlation coefficient of 0.55.
alekssr [168]

Answer:

Her prediction will be somewhat likely to be close to the actual value.

Step-by-step explanation:

A correlation coefficient of 0.55 implies a weak positive correlation, because it's close to 0.50. Remember that strong correlations are 1 or -1, positive or negative, and the middle of the interval represents no correlation.

Having said that, 0.55 indicates some correlation, but weak. Therefore, the right answer is C.
