Okay to the median of a set of numbers you will have to  Put all the numbers in numerical order. Then if there is an odd number of results, the median is the middle number. Then i<span>f there is an even number of results, the median will be the mean of the two central numbers.
</span>1) you already have the numbers in order so your good here (14,18,31,34,44,50)
2) there are a even number of numbers in this set so u can cross out #2
3) your two middle numbers are 31 and 34 so these are ur median then you have to find the mean of the two numbers you will need to add them together then divide by 2 to get 31+34 / 2 = 32.5

Because there's an even number of values in this set, there is two middle values rather than one (31 and 34). To find the median we need to add them together and divide the sum by 2 (31 + 34 = 65, 65/2= 32.5) Our final answer is 32.5.

Pauline orders wristbands from two different companies. • Company 1 sells each wristband for $2 and has free shipping. Company 2
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

Answer:

8 wristbands

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume that both of the company were ordered to deliver w wristbands.

The amount of money charged by company 1 who sells at $2 and offers free shipping is given as:

2w

The amount of money charged by company 2 who sells at $1.25 and $6 for shipping per order given as:

1.25w + 6

If both companies charge the same amount, hence:

2w = 1.25w + 6

2w - 1.25w = 6

0.75w = 6

w = 6/0.75

w = 8

The two companies charge the same amount for 8 wristbands

How do I solve this
Sergio [31]

Answer:

9(c^7)

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{ 9c^{3} }{c^{-4} }=\\9c^{3} * c^{4}=\\9c^{7}

c^-4 is equal to 1/(c^4), so 1/(c^(-4)) is c^4.

Meteorologists look for weather trends across US states in the same geographical region. Kentucky and Illinois share a border. T
olya-2409 [2.1K]

The average annual temperatures (°F) from 1991 to 2000 for Kentucky were 57.5, 55.1, 52.2, 55.6, 55.6, 54.4, 54.5, 58.3, 57.3, and 55.7.

We have to evaluate the measures of center.

Firstly, we will calculate the mean.

Mean = (Sum of all the observations)/ (Total number of observations)

Mean =  \frac{57.5+55.1+52.2+55.6+55.6+54.4+54.5+58.3+57.3+55.7}{10}

= \frac{556.2}{10}

= 55.62

Now, we will calculate mode.

Mode is a statistical term that refers to the most frequently occurring number found in a set of numbers.

Consider the data 57.5, 55.1, 52.2, 55.6, 55.6, 54.4, 54.5, 58.3, 57.3, and 55.7.

Mode = 55.6

Now, we will calculate the median.

Firstly, we will arrange in the ascending order.

52.2, 54.4, 54.4,55.1 ,55.6, 55.6, 55.7, 57.3, 57.5, 58.3

Since there are 10 terms.

Median = \frac{n}{2}th observation

Median = 5th observation.

Since, the 5th observation is 55.6.

Therefore, the median is 55.6
