The water changes states again in the atmosphere, it turns from a gas to a liquid or solid, depending on the temperature, and the water falls from the atmosphere in the stage of precipitation as either the solid or liquid.

It formed a natural obstruction along the western side of New England. The British were then able to move South and defeat the Southern colonies.

Thus, it was a very important and good military strategy.
