N your last meeting with the hospital administrators, you learn that Valley View Hospital System has decided to acquire 5 family

practices and 7 specialty practices in the local area. This means that the hospital should be ready for interoperability. Your task is to analyze the situation based on all the prior decisions made by you, evaluate the system that was selected in Week 3, and come up with a proposal that will help the facility meet the interoperability requirements.
Does the new system satisfy the requirements for technical interoperability?
Does the new system satisfy the requirements for semantic interoperability?
If the above answers are “No” or “Not sure”, come up with 5 interoperability-related recommendations for the facility. Support your recommendations and indicate the benefits of interoperability when it comes to participation in ACO or possible future participation in health information exchange.

A new system will meet technical interoperability requirements when it develops communication, transport, storage and information standards in a continuous and integrated manner.

Semantic interoperability will be achieved when there is meaning to information from different sources, that is, common information and classification tools.

What is interoperability?

It corresponds to the ability of a system with an open and ontological standard that can be automated or not to communicate with another system, similar or not, in an integrated and transparent way. Some examples of interoperable systems are:

 • Educational system
 • E-commerce system

Therefore, the benefits of interoperability in the exchange of health information are related to more effective and assertive decision-making by health professionals, enabling faster processes and better clinical outcomes.

Explain why cigarette smoke is toxic.
Nikitich [7]

Answer:

Hi

Explanation:

Cigarette smoke can contain high levels of carbon monoxide. Hydrogen cyanide was used to kill people in the gas chambers. It can be found in cigarette smoke. Nicotine is a poison used in pesticides and is the addictive element in cigarettes. Inhaling the harmful smoke it can inflame your lungs and airway, causing them to swell and block oxygen. This can lead to acute respiratory distress syndrome and respiratory failure. Smoke inhalation commonly happens when you get trapped in a contained area, such as a kitchen or home, near a fire.
