Answer:the nucleus

Explanation:mRNA is synthesized in the nucleus using the nucleotide sequence of DNA as a template. This process requires nucleotide triphosphates as substrates and is catalyzed by the enzyme RNA polymerase II. The process of making mRNA from DNA is called transcription, and it occurs in the nucleus

How are babies made?
Reptile [31]

Answer:

The genetic material in the sperm combines with the genetic material in the egg to create a new cell that starts dividing rapidly. You're not actually pregnant until that bundle of new cells, known as the embryo, travels the rest of the way down the fallopian tube and attaches itself to the wall of your uterus.

Compare the physical and chemical properties of a compound to those of the elements of which it is composed.
yuradex [85]

Explanation:

Compounds are those substances that are made up of elements that are combined in a fixed proportion or ratio. The individual property of element is lost once it forms a compound. The physical and chemical properties of both compound and an element is different.

Example of a compound is water and its elements are hydrogen and oxygen. Water is a colorless liquid that acts as a solvent and dissolves most of the solutes in it. While oxygen and hydrogen occurs as gases in their elemental state.

Why are pigments such as chlorophyll needed for photosynthesis
Vlad [161]

Answer:

The chlorophyll pigment have photosystem 680/ PS I which captures the sunlight. Then the pigments gets excited and photosynthesis starts. Without chlorophyll photosynthesis can't happen.

Explanation:

Photosynthesis occurs in the chlorophyll pigment of the plant. They have the capacity to trap light energy and convert its energy to form glucose and oxygen.

The chlorophyll is a double layer membrane structure. In it two photosystems works i.e. photosystem I and photosystem II. In the photosystem I light is trapped.

In the chlorophyll thylakoids are present which have photosystem 680. It captures the photons coming from the sun. The photons are the light of different wavelengths which are absorbed by plants.

The photon have more energy, and when it comes in contact with PS 680, the pigments get excited. Then they release high energy electrons which helps to form ATP, NADPH. Because it is a light dependent reaction.

Glucose and oxygen are formed in the stroma as it does not require light. It is a light independent reaction.

Therefore, chlorophyll is first require to capture photons coming from sun.
