If you let people follow their feelings (original feelings), they will be able to do good
Delvig [45]
Mencius' political philosophy basically results from an extension of his doctrine of moral feelings. As he told the rulers, “If you let people follow their feelings (original nature), they will be able to do good” (Mencius 6A6). When Xunzi later attacked Mencius, one of his arguments was based on the concept of natural feelings.

Part of our job as early childhood educators is to keep young children safe and setting safety limits. Talk about some of the sa
LiRa [457]

Explanation:

As a childhood educator, teaching young children about safety is very important. Designing proper and effective rules is an important step in helping children to keep safe.

The basic safety rules and safety limits that I have in my classroom are :

1. Always listen to your teachers and parents.

2. Do not play with sharp objects such as sharp pencils or other stationary.

3. While wait for your turn and do not rush while moving into the elevator lift.

4. Always seat at your proper place.

5. While going to the washroom, walk properly and be careful on the wet surfaces.

6. Wear seat belt while in the car.

7. When the teacher speaks, keep quiet and listen properly.

8. Use the staircase carefully. Do not push others or run.

9. Do not bully others, verbally and physically.

10. Learn to respect others.

11. Always move safely.

Some of the steps to follow to make sure that the children understands the rules properly are :

  • Explain them the rules why they are important to us.
  • Repeat the rules regularly to the children so that they remember them and follow.
  • Make sure to involve the children while telling them the rules.
  • Make a chart of the set of rules which is children friendly and easy to follow.
  • We can also make a video of the rules.
  • Posters can also be made to explain them the rules.
  • Create some activities involving children so that they learn how and where to follow the safety rules.

An object of mass 20 kg is dropped
8090 [49]

Answer: PE = 800j, KE = 800J

Explanation:

To calculate the potential energy, we use the formula

Potential Energy = Mgh

M = 20kg, g = 10m/sˆ2 , h = 4m

=20 × 10 × 4

=800J

At the maximum height  S = 4 and the initial velocity u = 0 The acceleration g = 10m/sˆ2

Using the third equation of motion

vˆ2 = uˆ2 + 2as

= 0ˆ2 + 2 × 10 ×  4

vˆ2 = 80

Kinetic Energy (KE) is given by

KE = ½ mvˆ2

= ½ × 20 × 80

=800J

Case Study:
Taya2010 [7]

Full question:

Amy walked into her office cubicle and sat down. The entire episode with the blond man had taken well over two hours of her day. Plus, the police officers had told her the district attorney would also be calling to make an appointment to speak to her, which meant she would have to spend even more time dealing with this incident. She hoped her manager would understand.

Based on this case study, what security awareness and training documents and posters had an impact in this event?

Do you think Amy should have done anything differently?

Ethical Decision Making:

Suppose that the blond man in the scenario was someone Amy knew socially. Suppose she also knew he had no relationship to the company and no business being in the building. If Amy chose not to make a report about the event, would she be violating her ethical position?

Answer and Explanation:

Security awareness, posters and training documents create awareness in that they give detailed information on security issues concerning the organization so that individuals are able to perform their jobs securely. The above scenario does not see the active impact of security awareness and this could cause security problem as members begin to ignore security matters and therefore increase risk of security failures.

Amy could have gone to her manager to explain the details and the reasons for her delays and not sit and wait for her manager to ask

In the case of ethical decision making here, this could be a case of informal visitation from someone Amy knows personally. If she feels this might have caused a security breach, she should report and explain the details to her manager or tender a report in the most formal sense.
