Answer:

\sf E=\dfrac{x^2 \cdot x^4 \cdot x^6 \cdot x^8 ... 100\:factors}{x \cdot x^3 \cdot x^5 \cdot x^7 ... 100\:factors}=x^{100}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

\sf E=\dfrac{x^2 \cdot x^4 \cdot x^6 \cdot x^8 ...}{x \cdot x^3 \cdot x^5 \cdot x^7 ... }

As:

\sf E=\dfrac{x^2 \cdot x^4 \cdot x^6 \cdot x^8 \cdot ... }{x \cdot x^3 \cdot x^5 \cdot x^7 \cdot ... }=\dfrac{x^2}{x^1} \cdot \dfrac{x^4}{x^3} \cdot \dfrac{x^6}{x^5} \cdot \dfrac{x^8}{x^7} \cdot ...}

Apply the exponent rule  \sf \dfrac{a^b}{a^c}=a^{b-c}

\begin{aligned}\sf \implies \dfrac{x^2}{x^1} \cdot \dfrac{x^4}{x^3} \cdot \dfrac{x^6}{x^5} \cdot \dfrac{x^8}{x^7} \cdot... & = \sf x^{(2-1)} \cdot x^{(4-3)} \cdot x^{(6-5)} \cdot x^{(8-7)} \cdot ...\\ & = \sf x^1 \cdot x^1 \cdot x^1 \cdot x^1 \cdot ...\end{aligned}

As there are 100 factors, then \sf x^1 is multiplied by itself 100 times ⇒ \sf x^{100}

Therefore:

\sf E=\dfrac{x^2 \cdot x^4 \cdot x^6 \cdot x^8 ... 100\:factors}{x \cdot x^3 \cdot x^5 \cdot x^7 ... 100\:factors}=x^{100}

sum of first n even nos =n(n+1)

sum of first n odd nos=n²

So

Simplify the numerator

  • x²x⁴x⁶..=x^(2+4+6..100times )

Simplify the denominator

  • xx³x⁵..=x^{1+3+5..100times)

Sum of first 100 even nos

  • 100(100-1)=100(99)=9900

Sum of first 100 odd nos

  • 100²=10000.

So

The equation yields as

  • E=x⁹⁹⁰⁰/x¹⁰⁰⁰⁰
  • E=1/x¹⁰⁰

Pam spelled 68 of 100 words correctly on the pretest. How many words did she miss? If she learns 8 of those each day, how long w
Fofino [41]

Answer:

Pam missed 32 words in her pretest.

It will take 4 days for Pam to learn all missed words.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Number of words spelled correctly = 68

Total number of words on the pretest = 100

We need to find the number of words she missed.

Solution:

now we can say that;

Number of words she missed can be calculated by subtracting Number of words spelled correctly from Total number of words on the pretest.

framing in equation form we get;

Number of words she missed = 100 -68 =32\ words

Hence Pam missed 32 words in her pretest.

Now Given:

Number of words missed learned each day = 8

Total number of words missed = 32 words.

We need to find how long will take to learn them all.

now we can say that;

days required to learn missed words is equal to total number of words missed divided by Number of words missed learned each day.

framing in equation form we get;

Days required to learn missed words = \frac{32}{8}=4\ days

Hence It will take 4 days for Pam to learn all missed words.

The two triangles we can see in the diagram are similar, which means that their measurements are proportional. Line MN on the larger triangle MNP is 71.5ft long, and its corresponding line, MA, on the smaller triangle is 71.5-22= 49.5ft long. This means that the scale factor from the bigger to the smaller triangle is 71.5/49.5=13/9.
If line MP on the bigger rectangle is 97.5ft long, then its corresponding line, MB, must be 97.5÷13/9=67.5 ft long.
Therefore, x=67.5 ft

tia_tia [17]

The approximate percent increase in the average grade is 21.43%.

<h3>What is the percentage increase?</h3>

Percentage is a measure of frequency that expresses a number as a value out of hundred. The sign used to denote percentage is%.

Percentage increase = (new grade / initial grade) - 1

(85 / 70) - 1 = 0.2143 = 21.43%
