6x^2 - 2x = 7

6x^2 - 2x - 7 = 0

x = \dfrac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}

x = \dfrac{-(-2) \pm \sqrt{(-2)^2 - 4(6)(-7)}}{2(6)}

x = \dfrac{2 \pm \sqrt{4 + 168}}{12}

x = \dfrac{2 \pm \sqrt{172}}{12}

x = \dfrac{2 \pm 2\sqrt{43}}{12}

x = \dfrac{1 \pm \sqrt{43}}{6}

Hey there :)

6x² - 2x = 7

Bring all terms to one side and equate to 0
6x² - 2x - 7 = 0

Lets see if we can solve by factoring:
Sum = - 2  and   Product = - 7
We do not have factors for this

Therefore, we need to solve by quadratic equation { Refer to the attached picture }

6x² - 2x - 7 = 0
 ↓      ↓     ↓
 a      b     c

x = \frac{-(-2)+/- \sqrt{(-2)^2-4(6)(-7)} }{2(6)}
x = \frac{2+/- \sqrt{ 172 } }{12} = \frac{2+/-2 \sqrt{43} }{12}

x = \frac{1+/-\sqrt{43}}{6}
         ↓
      Will be your answer

(3ab+2c)^3 what is the answer
svet-max [94.6K]

Answer:

=27a^3b^3+54a^2b^2c+36abc^2+8c^3

Step-by-step explanation:

(3ab+2c)^3

=(3ab+2c) × (3ab+2c) ×

=(3ab+2c)(9a^2b^2+12abc+4c^2)

=(3ab)(9a^2b^2)+(3ab)(12abc)+(3ab)(4c^2)+(2c)(9a^2b^2)+(2c)(12abc)+(2c)(4c^2)

=27a^3b^3+36a^2b^2c+12abc^2+18a^2b^2c+24abc^2+8c^3

=27a^3b^3+54a^2b^2c+36abc^2+8c^3

<em>hope this helps....</em>
