Newton's first law of motion is the law of inertia. There are basically "two parts" to the law of inertia. The first part says that an object at rest tends to remain at rest unless it is acted on by an outside force

How does the mass of Venus compare to the mass of the Earth? (site 1)
Anna007 [38]

Here's what I found:

Both are similar in size, mass, density, and volume. However, during the last few years scientists have found that the kinship ends here. In fact, other than those similarities, Venus is very different from Earth. It has no oceans and is surrounded by a heavy atmosphere composed mainly of carbon dioxide with virtually no water vapor. Its clouds are composed of sulfuric acid droplets. At the surface, the atmospheric pressure is 92 times that of the Earth's at sea-level.

Hope this helps!
