9 buses.
Explanation:
We divide the number of basketball fans by the number of fans that can be accommodated by the bus. We get 8.4
Since we cannot cut the bus into 0.4 we add another bus so that everyone will get to go.
Another method is
Multiply 8 buses by 34 fans. We get 272 fans will be able to go to a game.
This means that some fans will be left by the bus but our goal is to have everyone go.
And thus we need the 9th bus to carry the remaining 15 fans

Write the interval (5, 100] as an inequality and using set notation
Arada [10]
An inequality is a statement that shows relation between two values, when the two values are not equal.
The inequality is opposite than equality.
So, the interval (5,100] means that it contains all number from number 5 (not and 5)  till 100, including 100. We can see this from the bracket's type.
For a value x in this interval we can write the inequality:
5<x<=100
x is bigger than 5 , and smaller or equal 100

The cheerleader section is on the basketball court. Each row requires a section of floor that is 1 ¾ yards by 3 ⅓ yards. How man
Lady_Fox [76]

Answer:

The area of the floor space is equal to 5.83 sq yards.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Each row requires a section of floor that is 1 ¾ yards by 3 ⅓ yards.

We need to find how many square yards of floor space are taken up by one row of cheerleaders.

We know that, the area of a rectangle is given by :

A = lb

So,

A=\dfrac{7}{4}\times \dfrac{10}{3}\\\\A=5.83\ yards^2

So, the area of the floor space is equal to 5.83 sq yards.

The sum of two consecutive odd intergers is 32. Find the intergers.
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]
So let the smaller integer be 2x+1 and the larger one be 2x+3. So 2x+1+2x+3 is 32. Simplifying, we get 4x+4=32. So subtracting 2 from both sides we get 4x+2=30. So dividing by 2 we get 2x+1=15. So 2x+3 is 17. So the numbers are 15 and 17
