This question has to be false, because Hong Kong is not an independent country. Hong Kong is a city in China. Also, Japan is on the east side of Asia.
I would say 60 feet. Yards is what you would use to measure a foot ball field. It's way to big of a measurment for a telephone pole. Feet make sense because they are not to big, but not to small.
