Answer:

The length of AB is about 5 inches. The length of BC is about 10 inches. I just counted how many squares would be inside the meeting edges. Bc is double AB so that one was easy to figure out.

Step-by-step explanation:) Hope this helps

  • AB = 4 units
  • BC = 8 units
  • perimeter = 2(l+b) = 2(8+4) = 2(12) = 24 units

ANSWER

24

EXPLANATION

For a matrix A of order n×n, the cofactor C_{ij} of element a_{ij} is defined to be

   C_{ij} = (-1)^{i+j} M_{ij}

M_{ij} is the minor of element a_{ij} equal to the determinant of the matrix we get by taking matrix A and deleting row i and column j.

Here, we have

   C_{11} = (-1)^{1+1} M_{11} = M_{11}

M₁₁ is the determinant of the matrix that is matrix A with row 1 and column 1 removed. The bold entries are the row and the column we delete.

   \begin{aligned} A=\begin{bmatrix} \bf 1 & \bf -6 & \bf -4\\ \bf 7 & 0 & -3 \\ \bf -9 & 8 & -8 \end{bmatrix} \implies M_{11} &= \text{det}\left(\begin{bmatrix} 0&-3 \\ 8&-8 \end{bmatrix} \right)  \end{aligned}

Since the determinant of a 2×2 matrix is

   \det\left(  \begin{bmatrix} a & b \\ c& d  \end{bmatrix} \right) = ad-bc

it follows that

   \begin{aligned} A=\begin{bmatrix} \bf 1 & \bf -6 & \bf -4\\ \bf 7 & 0 & -3 \\ \bf -9 & 8 & -8 \end{bmatrix} \implies M_{11} &= \text{det}\left(\begin{bmatrix} 0&-3 \\ 8&-8 \end{bmatrix} \right) \\ &= (0)(-8) - (-3)(8) \\ &= -(-24) \\ &= 24 \end{aligned}

so C_{11} = M_{11} = 24

PLEASE HELP!! FILL IN THE BLANK MATH QUESTION, ONLY ANSWER IF YOU KNOW THE CORRECT ANSWER CAUSE MY GRADE DEPENDS ON IT
vagabundo [1.1K]
First blank: sin. C = h/a
The ratio for sin. is opposite (the height) over hypotenuse (a).

Second blank: Area = (1/2)b(a sin. C)
In this substitution, we are substituting the value of h into the traditional area of a triangle formula.

Third Blank: Area = (1/2)ab(sin C)
We are using the commutative property to move the position of a.
Hope this helps and good luck in your classes!

Select all that apply. Which of the following are proportions? 25/10=5/2,3/4=8/10,2/8=3/12,3/4=15/20
8_murik_8 [283]

Answer:

\frac{25}{10} = \frac{5}{2} is in proportion.

\frac{3}{4} = \frac{8}{10} is not in proportion.

\frac{2}{8} = \frac{3}{12} is in proportion.

\frac{3}{4} = \frac{15}{20} is in proportion.

Step-by-step explanation:

The first example is \frac{25}{10} = \frac{5}{2} and it is in proportion.

This is because, you will get the same simplest fraction (\frac{5}{2}) from the fraction \frac{25}{10} by dividing its numerator and denominator by 5.

The second example is \frac{3}{4} = \frac{8}{10} and it is not in proportion.

This is because, you can not  get the simplest fraction (\frac{3}{4}) from the fraction \frac{8}{10} after simplification.

The third example is \frac{2}{8} = \frac{3}{12} and it is in proportion.

This is because, you will get the same simplest fraction (\frac{1}{4}) from the fraction \frac{2}{8} by dividing its numerator and denominator by 2 and from the fraction \frac{3}{12} by dividing its numerator and denominator by 3.

The fourth example is \frac{3}{4} = \frac{15}{20} and it is in proportion.

This is because, you will get the same simplest fraction (\frac{3}{4}) from the fraction \frac{15}{20} by dividing its numerator and denominator by 5. (Answer)
