Answer: I believe its A

Explanation:  Lighting is induction So Eliminate any answer that says conduction . When they loom over us in the gloomy sky, positive charges are induced on the objects on the ground, as a result of electrostatic induction. I also Did more research and it had said as the negative charge in the cloud increases, the ground responds by becoming more positively charged. Similarly, the positive charge in the anvil can cause a negative charge to build up on the ground under the anvil (which may extend far from the thunderstorm base). I hope this helps.

Difference between respiration and breathing
olasank [31]

Answer:

Breathing is a physical process that involves various organs like the lungs, windpipe, nose, and others for exchanging the gases that are inhalation or taking of oxygen and expelling the carbon dioxide in the body.

Respiration is a chemical process that takes place inside of the cell by breaking the sugar using oxygen taking from breathing to produce energy. These both processes are different, however, interrelated to one another as breathing provides oxygen for respiration, and respiration gives up carbon dioxide to expel out by breathing.

Which water quality data most likely indicates eutrophication?
Flura [38]
Eutrophication is the input of excessive nutrients into fresh surface waters. Nutrients can cause algal blooms. Some of these algae can be toxic, and algal death can also result in anoxic conditions, leading to fish deaths. Some indicators of eutrophic conditions can be high measures of important nutrients such as phosphates and nitrates. Another indication of eutrophication can be high concentrations of algal cells. Finally, low dissolved oxygen can indicate eutrophic conditions.

Defend or refute the conclusion that technology has improved animal agriculture.
Lana71 [14]

Answer:

Since genetically engineered (GE) crops were introduced in 1996, their use in the United States has grown rapidly, accounting for 80-90 percent of soybean, corn, and cotton acreage in 2009. To date, crops with traits that provide resistance to some herbicides and to specific insect pests have benefited adopting farmers by reducing crop losses to insect damage, by increasing flexibility in time management, and by facilitating the use of more environmentally friendly pesticides and tillage practices. However, excessive reliance on a single technology combined with a lack of diverse farming practices could undermine the economic and environmental gains from these GE crops. Other challenges could hinder the application of the technology to a broader spectrum of crops and uses.
