The Qin Empire was the first dynasty of Imperial China, covering an area of 890,000 square miles. Located in modern-day East China and North Korea, it lasted from 221 BC to 206 BC. The Qin army conquered as far as modern-day Guangzhou and Hanoi, Vietnam.
The Qin empire was located around both of China's major rivers: Huang He, or Yellow River and Chang Jiang, or Yangtze.
