What region would you prefer to live in during the second revolution and why
Tanzania [10]
Industrial revolution affected the north a great deal and was all pretty much positive except for the problems that came when immigrants started coming in but the immigrants made the population in the north skyrocket. The economy was doing well, the transportation system was going good. The only problems were the labor unions that formed when the workers decided they wanted more pay and better working conditions and the wealthy wanted to increase profits in their businesses. In the South there were many struggles when it came to segregation and discrimination against african americans. The economy was being rebuilt after it wasnearly destroyed during the civil war and the railways were also. The population was low and it didnt seem like a great place to be during this period. In the midwest there were also labor unions like in the north but they like the north also had many positive things come out of the revolution like there transportation system and their rapid population growth because of immigrants. In the West their transportaion was great with the transcontinental railroad and there economy base was agriculture but they had problems when immigrats from China came in and offered to work for less wages, this threatened everyone elses jobs. If i had to choose a region to live in during this time it would either be the North or Midwest because their economy was booming, the cities were expanding, the population was growing like crazy and it seems like the best places to have been in during that time.

Artyom0805 [142]

Answer:

Utilitarian

Explanation:

The approach Gina is using in this ethical dilemma is known as Utilitarian approach.

Utilitarianism satisfies the fact that the most ethical choice produces the greatest good for larger number. This ethical theory reveals the right from the wrong by solely focusing on the outcome. It's concern is the consequences of ethical decisions.

Therefore, since Gina is suggesting for a sidestepping of the rules which will result to a greater good than following procedures, Gina is taking the utilitarian approach.

What was hamiltons position on the purchase of louisiana
sergey [27]

Answer:

Alexander Hamilton's economic and financial systems established top-rated credit for the United States, which led Napoleon to offer the Louisiana Purchase to the United States.

Explanation:

At the time, the United States was concerned about France’s control of the mouth of the Mississippi and the possibility of disrupting the flow of future commerce of the United States. Thomas Jefferson, through his diplomatic team in Paris, had earlier proposed acquiring New Orleans and small tracts of land on both sides of the banks of the Mississippi from France for six million dollars.

Napoleon would have made this offer to any sitting U.S. President. It was not significant that it was President Jefferson. If George Washington or John Adams were President, it also would have been offered and accepted.

The important element in this deal was that Napoleon needed money and the United States had developed the financial credit established by Hamilton that was necessary for the deal.
