The contributing factor that led to the Persian Gulf War  was the international conflict that was said to be influenced  by Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in 1990.

The United States was said to have been involved in  the Gulf War. The  U.S. troops were said to be sent so as to remove Saddam Hussein's forces from the region of Kuwait.
