What was the impact of the Griswold v. Connecticut ruling
Alex Ar [27]
In 1879, Connecticut passed a law making it a crime for anyone, even married couples, to use birth control drugs or devices. In Griswold v. Connecticut (1965), the Supreme Court ruled that a state's ban on the use of contraceptives violated the right to marital privacy. Griswold was a landmark decision because the U.S. Constitution does not actually mention a right of privacy. The Court found the right in what he called the “penumbras” of many constitutional amendments. The Court said taken together, these amendments protect privacy in the United States of America.

professor190 [17]

Answer:This is an example of a(n) political argument for government intervention.

Explanation:

Countries sometimes will want to protect particular industries that they consider crucial for national security

Most crucially defense related industries are the most industries that the people will fight for such as aerospace, advanced electronics and semiconductors.

Eventhough these arguments are no longer common but they still exist.

People in the U.S believe in these days that semiconductors industry must be protected from foreigners , because they believe that that this is now a component that is crucial part of defense product and it can pose a huge threat to rely on foreigner supply for these components.
