The completed statements with regards to the directors study are;

  • For the Midwest region the average number of sales orders per representative for the group that had training is <u>0.19</u> more than the average number of sales per representative for the group that had no training.

  • For the Northeast region the average number of sales orders per representative for the group that had training is <u>0.37</u> more than the average number of sales per representative for the group that had no training.

  • The data from the sales director's study indicate that the one-month training program <u>improves</u> sales.

<h3>How can the correct options be obtained?</h3>

The number of sales representative = 200

For the Midwest region, we have;

average(t)=  \frac{234}{200}  = 1.17

average \: (non)=  \frac{196}{200}  = 0.98

The difference between the averages is therefore;

∆x = 1.17 - 0.98 = 0.19

For the Northeast region, we have;

average \: (t) =  \frac{252}{200}  = 1.26

average \: (non) =  \frac{178}{200}  = 0.89

∆x = 1.26 - 0.89 = 0.37

The sales by the sales representative that had the one-month training is higher than those that did not have training

Find the missing amount)
Akimi4 [234]

Answer: 182 gallons

find 30% of 260 by multiplying 260 by 30%

260 x .3 = 78

30% of 260 = 78

Subtract 78 from 260 to get original amount

260 - 78 = 182

Original is 182 gallons

ps. this is an actual impossible question because you need to know the original amount to find what 30% of it is. What i found was a 30% decrease of 260 not a 30% increase of the original. With that being said I think this is what you want?
