The main plant tissue that the lines in the enlarged diagrams point to is the ground tissue.

What are ground tissues in plants?

Ground tissues in plants refer to the collenchyma tissues, the parenchyma tissues, and the sclerenchyma tissues.

In other words, they are tissues that are neither dermal nor vascular in origin.

Different ground tissues perform different functions depending on the part of the plants in which they are found. the functions range from photosynthesis in leaves to storage in roots, and support functions.

What does the endosymbiont theory state? Do mitochondria and chloroplast contain their own genetic material and protein synthesi
Simora [160]

Answer:

Endosymbiotic theory deals with the origin of eukaryotes from the prokaryotes through evolution

Explanation:

Endosymbiotic theory states that eukaryotic organelles such as mitochondria, chloroplast are generally evolved from free living bacteria.Mitochondria is originated from proteobacteria and chloroplast is generated from cyanobacteria through symbiosis.

Both mitochondria and chloroplast contain double strand circular DNA and also have their own protein synthesis machinery but most of the mitochondrial proteins are synthesized within nucleus and then transported to the mitochondria.

wild animals like tiger, wolf, lion and leopard don't eat plants.does this mean that they can survive without plants? Can you provi
Novay_Z [31]

Answer:

Explanation:

No, they cannot survive without plants because carnivore eats the animals which is normally a herbivore and the herbivores eat plant. The animals which lion/wolf/tiger etc eats are mostly herbivores so herbivores would die if plants are not available and lion would not get food .

Lion like all other animals requires Oxygen for survival .The present stock of Oxygen would not lost long in absence of plants. Therefore plants are a must for survival of even the carnivores.

hope it helps
