A line passes through the points:
A ( - 4. - 1 )
B ( 1 1/2, 2 )
The point-slope form:
y = m x + b
m = ( 2-(-1)) / (3/2-(- 4)) = ( 2 + 1 ) / 3/2 + 4 ) = 3 / 11/2 = 6 / 11
2 = 6/11 * 3/2 + b
2 = 9/11 + b
b = 2 - 9/11 = 22/11 - 9/11 = 13/11
The equation in the slope-intercept form is:
y = 6/11 x + 13/11   / * 11 ( we will multiply both sides by 11 )
11 y = 6 x + 13
Answer :
A ) - 6 x + 11 y = 13

Measures of variability are used to characterize how the data are _____ around the _____ of the distribution.
Gnesinka [82]

Answer: Measures of variability are used to characterize how the data are spread around the mean of the distribution.

Step-by-step explanation:The measures of average such as the median and mean represent the typical value for a dataset.However , In the dataset the actual values usually differ from one another and from the average value itself.

In this case the measure of spread, sometimes also called a measure of dispersion, is used to describe the variability in a sample or population around the mean .

Which equation shows the distributive property?
Pie

Answer:

The second equation which is a(b+c) = ab + ac.

Step-by-step explanation:

Remember that when you think of the word distribute, you want to see a variable or a number behind the parentheses.  The fourth equation would not work despite there being distributive in which it will give you abc.  The second equation is a great example of what a distributive property problem may do.
