Step-by-step explanation:

a probability is always

desired cases / total possible cases.

there is the theoretical probability in such cases, where we simply assume that all sides of such a die (or solid) truly have the same probability.

and then we have experimental probability, where we use only the actual data we got in the experiments to calculate the probability of that particular die (with all its actual internal imperfections) to roll certain results.

so, in our experiments how many total cases do we have ?

200.

how many desired cases (a number greater than 10, that means 11 or 12 as result) do we have ?

well, the sum of all appearances of 11s and 12s :

16 + 18 = 34

that means our experimental probability to get a number greater than 10 is

34/200 = 17/100 = 0.17

FYI

while the theoretical probability with an ideal die is

total cases : 12 (1 .. 12)

desired cases : 2 (11, 12)

the probability is

2/12 = 1/6 = 0.166666666...

it is actually a tiny little bit lower than what we observed in the experiments.

A circular garden has a circumference of
omeli [17]

This solution to this problem is predicated on the fact that the circumference is just: 2\pir. A straight line going through the center of the garden would actually be the diameter, which is well known to be two times the radius of the circle, so we can say that the circumference is just:

d\pi

So, solving for both the radius and the diameter gives us:

d\pi=8xy^2\pi\\ d=8xy^2\\ \\ 2\pi r=8xy^2\pi\\ r=4xy^2

So, the length of thes traight path that goes through the center of the guardain is just 8xy^2, and we can use the radius for the next part of the problem.

The area of a circle is \pi r^2, which means we can just plug in the radius and find our area:

A=\pi r^2 \implies \\ A=\pi (4xy^2)^2\implies \\ A= 16\pi x^2y^4

So, we have found our area(16 \pi x^2 y^4) and the problem is done.

I don’t know how to find angle A
Cerrena [4.2K]
Angle a = 60

given that all angles of a triangle added together must equal 180
x = -20
-20+80=60
do it again for the other angle measurement
60+60+40=180

therefore, angle A is 60°

Please help with question 2, I’m too tired to think right now, and it’s for my little sister and it’s due tomorrow! Ignore the n
marishachu [46]

Answer:

2000 L

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 1250 L of water in a tank at present. If the tank is 0.625 full, what is the capacity of the tank?

The simple solution is:

1250 L ÷ 0.625 = 2000 L

The algebraic solution is:

Let c equal the capacity of the tank.

Therefore, c × 0.625 = 1250.

Divide both sides by 0.625:

c × 0.625 ÷ 0.625 = 1250 ÷ 0.625

And simplify:

c = 1250 ÷ 0.625

c = 2000

The height of the cylinder is 25 inches and the radius of its base is 5 inches. What is the surface area of this cylinder, in te
Vikentia [17]

ok you need formula for surface area.

SA = πrh+2πr^2

Plug in 25 and 5

SA = 2π(5)(25)+2π(5)^2

SA = 10pi*25 + 2pi(25)

SA = 250pi + 50pi

SA = 300pi

Hope this helps :)
