A straight line equation is that can be represented by y = mx +c , where m is the slope and c is the intercept on y axis.

The points given are (2,3) and (5,9)

m = (9-3)/(5-2) = 3

m = 3

Therefore the equation becomes

(y-y₁) = m(x-x₁)

y-3 = 3(x - 2)

y-3 = 3x -6

y = 3x +3

Therefore the equation of the line is y = 3x +3 .
